Danielle Lopes is a vibrant, passionate dancer who oozes elegance and sensuality in her performances. She is a Brazilian born belly dancer based in Sydney / Australia with over 12 years of professional training and entertainment. Throughout this period she has trained in various forms of dance but found that through the mystifying beats and movements of oriental dance her passion is fully expressed.
Danielle Lopes has trained meticulously in oriental dance art through both continual dance classes and self study. She has also trained with internationally acclaimed belly dancers such as: Randa Kamel, Yasmina of Cairo, Mohamed Shahin, Lulu Sabongi, Soraia Zaied and many more. This knowledge provides extra flair and cultural understanding to her performances and tuition style with exceptional demonstration of technique and melody interpretation.
Her performance style is dynamic and composed, exhilarating and enthralling, which is achieved by fusing Brazilian movements into the Egyptian oriental dance style. Audiences are treated to an explosion of rhythms and dance! Danielle entices her performance through the presentation of excellent sword and fan veil work!
Throughout her dancing journey, Danielle has performed in several restaurants and events, but the most important ones were: the wedding of the Australian Star Kylie Sandilands, concert of the Lebanese singers Marwa and Sohbi Tawfik in Australia. She also guest starred in the Opening Ceremony at the 2009 Sydney Master Games, Homebush Olympic Park, with Hathor Dance Studio. Danielle was also part of an exclusive tour in Australia, performing in the main restaurants in Sydney together with the International belly dancer Aisha from Greece and the “Samba Queen” Cristina Ramon.
